TEROSON® RB IX is a light grey, self-adhesive, permanently plastic-profiled, rubber-based sealant (kneading material) with good corrosion-protection properties. It’s typically used in automotive, railway carriage and caravan manufacturing, in the sheet metal processing and refrigerating equipment industry, and for construction purposes, such as sealing openings with cable breakthroughs and sanitary installations. Due to its tackiness, TEROSON RB IX adheres to most surfaces and is compatible with various substrates while they are clean and dry. It can be painted with conventional paints based on oil and synthetic resins and exhibits very good water- and ageing resistance.
