LOCTITE® UK 5400 is a light brown, 2-part, solvent-free, polyurethane-based pasty adhesive. A weight mix ratio of 1:5 with LOCTITE® UK 8160 produces a hard elastic product used for elastic, bend-resistant bonding of pre-treated metals, wood and plastics with rigid foams. It is ideal for the production of sandwich elements, e.g. for vehicles, containers, the construction and shipbuilding industries, tanks and tankers, as well as for engineered insulation down to -190°C (-310°F).
