LOCTITE® SF 7505 is a milky, aqueous-based, fast-drying, synthetic latex resin coating that is applied to rusted metal to stop further rust developing. It protects the surface and acts as a primer for a finish coat. Typical applications include pipes and valves, fittings in refineries, tankers, power plants, and domestic and commercial heating/cooling plants. It resists heat ageing up to 90°C (194°F) continuously and up to 120°C (248°F) for short periods.
