LOCTITE® AA 3342 is a yellow-opaque, modified acrylic-based structural adhesive that provides a 3 to 3.5-minute fixture time, a shear strength of 15–30 N/mm² and very fast curing on activated surfaces. This makes it highly suitable for automated assembly lines with short cycle times. It’s typically used for bonding small rigid parts of dissimilar materials. It tolerates operating temperatures up to 180°C (356°F), making it particularly useful when high heat resistance is required, e.g., when bonding ferrites into motor cans. LOCTITE AA 3342 is a 2-C no-mix adhesive and requires activator LOCTITE® SF 7386 before use to cure.
