LOCTITE® AA 3038 is a clear yellow/viscous straw, acryl-based adhesive for low-energy plastics. It's typically used for bonding e-coated metals (ECS) to glass fibre-filled polypropylenes (PPGF) but is also suitable for other low-energy substrates such as LDPE and HDPE and never requires surface pretreatment. Its thixotropic nature makes it easy to apply and reduces liquid migration after application. LOCTITE AA 3038 has a 4-minute working life and ≤70-minute fixture time (ECS to PPGF). It cures at room temperature and is temperature-resistant up to 100°C (212°F).
