LOCTITE® 5776 is a medium-strength thread sealant for locking and sealing all coarse metal threads. It's particularly suitable for fast application at low temperatures, making it ideal for outdoor applications. LOCTITE 5776 is DVGW-approved for gas and is also certified for potable water applications up to 60°C (140°F). This yellow dimethacrylate ester acrylic liquid cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Its thixotropic nature makes it easy to apply and reduces sealant migration after application. It fluoresces under UV light – great for quality control.
