For an instant seal and reduced product migration, try LOCTITE® 574. This general purpose, thixotropic gasketing product seals close-fitting joints between rigid metal faces and flanges, and provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly. Ideal for use as a form-in-place gasket on rigid flanged connections, e.g. gearbox and engine casings, it has excellent oil resistance and excellent resistance to water and glycol.
