LOCTITE® 431 is a medium-viscosity (medical device grade) instant adhesive designed especially for the fast bonding of plastics and rubbers. When used with LOCTITE® SF 7701 primer, the assembly of difficult-to-bond materials (PP, PE, PTFE) is possible. It has a fixture time of 15 seconds and is well suited to porous and/or acidic surfaces. LOCTITE 431 is tested to Henkel's ISO 10993 protocols for use in disposable medical devices.
